RESPONSIBILITIES: oDemonstrates the highest level of ethics and integrity in all supplier transactions. oEffectively manages supplier and category performance, including development of policies and procedures for each commodity. oLeads negotiations with suppliers, utilizing a strong background in fundamental sourcing skills. oLeads cross-functional Teams for category specific projects delivering significant budgetable savings and efficiencies. oParticipates in development and management of policies and procedures around complex commodities. oNegotiates and drafts complex contracts. oSkilled in performing difficult analysis, interpreting results, and providing effective recommendations. oDetermines and implements appropriate levers to achieve best price, balancing cost with operational considerations. oCreates and implements project or work plans for assigned categories and holds others accountable to plan. oResearches assigned categories and commodities for new developments. oLeads improvement initiatives. oSeeks out challenges and additional responsibilities. oMust be able to manage multiple project opportunities simultaneously. oMust be able to deliver effective and convincing presentations. oDevelops and manages supplier relationships. oWorks with limited supervision. oInterfaces with Legal, Tax, Risk Management, Finance, and others as necessary.

EDUCATION: Accredited Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience required.
WORK HOURS: 40 hrs. / Week Ability to work flexible hours and meet deadlines successfully, at times with frequent interruptions.
MISCELLANEOUS: Travel may be required.
