Description
The Engineering Drafter will provide engineering support by performing a variety of product definition duties using CAD tools (AutoCAD & Solidworks) including layout sketches, notes, diagrams, CAD modeling and associative engineering CAD drawings, engineering documentation and reports in accordance with company policies and standards.

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS

· Strong working knowledge of Solid Works and/or AutoCad

· Basic geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and ability to perform tolerance stacks

· Engineering drawings/modeling and related specifications

· Mechanical drafting and design methods, techniques and procedures

· Mathematics, including algebra and trigonometry

· Perform mathematical calculations in area of assignment which may include positional tolerance (ANSI Y14.5), stress, gauging and other types of engineering analysis

· Interpret and follow verbal and written instructions

· Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

· Read and interpret drawings, schematics and related specifications

· Effectively interface with all levels of personnel and work in a team environment

· Effectively estimate, schedule and prioritize work flow

· Understand specifications and shop drawings
