Engineering Technician

The Electronic Assembler is responsible for the assembly of automation equipment.
Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:
  • Assemble electrical or electronic systems and installing components, sub-assemblies, sensors, relays, wiring, plugging stripping, routing and inspecting. Assembly will include drilling, tapping and alike activities to build panels, mechanical assembly conduits, J-Boxes and enclosures.
  • Install electrical or electronic component parts to ensure conformance to specifications and function.
  • Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and BOM in order to determine material requirements.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

The Electronic Assembler must:

  • Must have knowledge reading schematics. Understands BOMS and assembly drawings. Knows how to use tools properly. Performs assembly and / or installation of various electronic components and sub-assemblies in accordance with manufacturing aids, wiring diagrams and other pictorial information.
  • Must be adaptable to various types of wiring.
  • Employee works at improving work skills. Must be competent. Adheres to company safety regulations and performs other duties as required.

Education Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in a Manufacturing environment.
