Radar Systems Engineer - Huntsville, AL

Description

Seeking radar engineer to provide systems engineering support to our Air Missile Defense customer for a new radar development program. Duties includes radar technology development, modeling and simulation development, test support, data analysis and reporting, as needed. Candidate must possess good communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills to be able to work with a diverse team, and will interface directly with customer and contractor experts. Secret clearance is required. Proficiency with software development environments such as MATLAB/ Python is required. This position will require overnight travel up to 10% of the time. MS Degree with 5 years of experience OR BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, Physics, or similar field with 7 years of experience and a SECRET security clearance are required. Requires experience in radar systems and broad knowledge of Air and Missile Defense. Experience in the areas of radar hardware, radar architecture, signal processing, scenario generation, scheduler, systems integration and testing including verification and validation. Experience performing concept studies and modeling. Working knowledge of programming languages such as MATLAB/Python/C/C and others. BS degree in Electrical Engineering is desired.
