5 years minimum of Aerospace/Avionics hands on experience with COTS or Prototype or Flight hardware. 5 years minimum direct hands on experience with design and integration of Test Equipment comprised of COTS ; troubleshooting electrical/electronic avionics (e.g. 422, 485, 1553, Ethernet, etc) systems with electrical/Electronic support/diagnostic equipment (Sniffers, Mutli-meter, Oscilloscope, network pinging tracers, software applications/Test tools, etc).
HW Electronics/Computing equipment diagnostic tool proficient (e.g Keysight Analyzer, O-Scope..) Desires Hands on Assembly/Test of HW HW/SW integration knowledge.

Contract Labor engineering for 6 to 12 months to support design, build and test of an Flight Instrumentation Test Aid Rack (DTAR/EDTAR) to stimulate/simulate, and collect data from the sensors; and the fabrication of a software development test aid rack (BESSR) build to internal sketches. Space & Launch is seeking two Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer (level 4) in support of SLS Avionics Integration Lab in Huntsville, Alabama, at the Redstone Gateway complex. The position will perform design (visio cad/autocad/maybe some CREO) to include mechanical layout, connection interface diagrams, Signal Matrix/Matrices, details Parts Lists), and build (hands-on) and est and Checkout operations of the computing/communication assets supporting the Ground System, Flight Systems and Test stakeholders. The Electrical/Electronic Designer contractors will supplement the company team (Responsible engineer and Architect) to design/build/checkout the products. The location is in Huntsville AL, and will require onsite/in facility daily work.
Create/update drawings of equipment layouts/assembly/ and interconnect diagrams. Create/update work instructions/Standard operating procedures that meet the AIL Operations Plan and internal Boeing CM procedures. Troubleshoot communication issues that may be attributed to HW, isolate issue to HW, or combination of HW and SW; compiles data from multiple sources and performs analysis and create resolution.
