Cyber Security Administrator, Firewall Expertise

Description:
Belcan is working with a partner in the Salt Lake City, Utah area to grow their IT Engineering team with a Cyber Security Administrator with Firewall Expertise. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to effectively maintain internal DoD and client firewalls, such as Palo Alto firewalls.

An Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance is required for this role. Interim clearances WILL NOT be considered.

Cyber Security Administrator, Firewall Expertise Responsibilities:

* Assumes responsibility for effective maintenance of firewall software and hardware

* Keeps management informed of significant problems and of progress attained in reaching established objectives.

* Maintains firewall rule set through regular audits of firewalls rules.

* Works with cross-functional teams to ensure all systems are updated and follow security hardening procedures

Cyber Security Administrator, Firewall Expertise Qualifications:

* Active DoD Secret or Top-Secret Clearance

* 5+ years of Security Administration experience

* 3+ years of hands-on, enterprise level firewall administration and intrusion detection experience

* IAM Level II certification(s); i.e. Security+
