Systems Engineer (Electrical Engineer)

Description:

Responsibilities:



  • Create, review, and approve test requirements and procedural documentation for supplier, rig and aircraft testing.
  • Review and approve Component and System Qualification documentation applying DO-160.
  • Witness component, system, and aircraft testing as required.
  • Create, Review and approve company and certification test reports.
  • Technically analyze and critique electrical systems, circuits, and components.
  • Interface with tier 1 and 2 suppliers for technical and program delivery


 



Qualifications



  • 10+ years at major Aircraft OEM working on Part 25 Certification programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Electrical engineering
  • Advanced knowledge of DO-160 and ARP4754
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret electrical schematics/wiring diagrams
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills


 



Preferred



  • 15+ years at major Aircraft OEM working on Part 25 Certification programs
  • Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • In-depth experience of DO-160, DO-178, ARP4754
  • Data plotting and analysis tools such as Matlab etc
