Crater Packer I – Specialized Packaging

• Build wooden crates to store and ship material.
• Read drawing schematics for design of wooden crates.
• Receive, store, inventory, issue, package, and ship material to various locations in support maintenance and supply operations.
• Operate material handling equipment to fulfill the daily work requirements.
• Pick, Pack, and ship defense service parts materials.
• Package material to military specifications.
• Input and maintain data within the Oracle database.
• Maintain data base records and file system
• Coordinate customer product location survey/inventories.
• Perform duties in accordance with ISO requirements.
• Enforce 360 awareness in safety and wear personal protective equipment.

• Worked in a team environment
• Proficient in math.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office products.
• Potential for exposure to temperature extremes in performance of duties.
• Working knowledge of basic wood working equipment (Table saw, chop saw, air power nail gun, sander, router, tape measure, and etc.)
• Able to read drawing schematics for dimensions of material.
• Working knowledge of Oracle operating system is desired.
• Physical requirements: Carry 50 pounds (tool box or parts), and normal color vision.

Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma and 2-5 years of carpenter experience.
