Flight Test Maintenance Data Entry / Logistics Coordinator

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Flight Test Maintenance Data Entry / Logistics Coordinator, in Duke Field, FL 

Flight Test Maintenance Data Entry / Logistics Coordinator 

Enter daily flight test maintenance event data and aircraft status data into the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) database. Input engine data into the IMDS and Comprehensive Engine Management System (CEMS) (D042) IAW T.O. 00-25-254-1 and T.O. 00-20-2 to record maintenance actions for engines. 

The collection of the flight test maintenance event data to be entered into IMDS requires: 
• Reviewing operations data, test logs and the data contained in the client’s Flight Article Aircraft Tracking System (FACTS) 
• Interviewing the client's maintenance crews, the client and U.S. Government aircrew and operations personnel 

Typical tasks include and not limited to: 
• Create/Record/Close Scheduled/Unscheduled maintenance actions 
• Recording supply and spares usage 
• Part/Serial Number Record Update 
• Perform configuration tracked Item Inquiry 
• Post-maintenance Reporting (ground found / unscheduled Mx) 
• Equipment Installation verification 
• Time Compliance Technical Order/modification records 
• Monitor life-limited engine components for forecasted changes 
• Maintain and update engine historical records compatible with Air Force data systems 
• Other assigned/associated tasks as required 
Experience / Background: 
• Must be comfortable building relationships with on-site USAF personnel and the client operations and maintenance workforce. 
• A.S. degree in Aircraft Maintenance Technology, Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering, preferred but not required and may be waived if candidate has sufficient practical experience, such as the following: 
• Minimum 4 years USAF aircraft maintenance experience 
• HH-60G Helicopter maintenance experience preferred 
• Expertise in USAF’s IMDS is required 
• Expertise in AFTO FORM 781 and 95 series documentation 
• Familiar with USAF’s CEMS IAW T.O. 00-25-254-1 and T.O. 00-20-2 is desired 
• Familiar with USAF aircraft inspection concepts and aircraft status reporting 
• Familiar with AFI 21-101, AFI 21-103, T.O. 00-20-1 and the AF technical order system 
• Must have/be able to obtain SECRET security clearance 
• Previous experience in aircraft test operations support desired, but is not required 

Other skills required: 
• Must be a self-starter and work independently, requiring a minimum of supervision 
• Must be comfortable building relationships with customer and hourly-workforce 
• Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills 
• Computer familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 
• Position may require some overtime and/or support of second or third shift and/or occasional weekends in support flight test and maintenance schedules.
