Vice President of Sales-TX

Chipton-Ross is seeking a VP of Sales in Fort Worth, TX.

Job Summary:
The VP of Sales is in charge of new business development and oversees the estimating/quoting of potential new work. He/she is responsible for visiting existing and potential customers on a regular basis and keeping buyers current on Client's capabilities and capacity for new work. On the estimating/quoting side, the VP of Sales will track all incoming RFQ's and will make sure they are properly responded to in a timely manner. He will also be heavily involved in the actual quoting process. and review the estimator's work and approve all quotes before they are submitted to the customer.

Compensation is competitive with substantial incentives based on winning new work.

Summary of Duties:
Develop client contacts and manage ongoing client relationships, with the objective of bringing in new business and increased sales for Essner Manufacturing;
Develop Strategic Sales Plan to outline annual and long term sales objectives;
Represent Essner in a professional manner at all times;
Interpretation of design drawings to outline specifications and client requirements;
Manage the quote and proposal process in coordination with Client staff
Complete cost estimates for bids;
Manage contract and sales negotiation process;
Identify other areas of opportunity as client relationships are established, with the intent of expanding sales to other client locations as appropriate;
Provide a weekly or monthly sales report summarizing all sales activity, to include clients called on via telephone and in person; pipeline; quote status; etc;
Manage the entire client relationship including sales, managing client expectations, negotiating terms, assisting with problem resolution, and maintaining regular contact;
Needs to be a "Self-Starter" and should be comfortable working in a growing business that currently lacks robust policies, procedures, and work instructions;
Should be resourceful and comfortable working in urgent business circumstances with limited information.

Must have solid excel and financial analysis abilities and be extremely comfortable working with ERP systems (ideally Epicor) to improve overall operating efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have the following:
1.Experience with a small company (between 75 - 100 employees);
2.Stable work record.
