The Customer Project Manager (Project Management Specialist) plays a key role in maintaining customer relations and facilitating the planning and execution of training programs by serving as a liaison between numerous internal stakeholders and customers all over the world. This position is the primary focal for a team that manages a portfolio of customers in the Asia-Pacific region and is responsible for explaining training details, planning and scheduling training activities, dealing with change requests and updates, and maintaining ongoing, effective communication. The Customer Project Manager (Project Management Specialist) is located in Renton, WA. The Customer Project Manager also constantly works to identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce operational costs. Use and understanding of accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO-standards) is preferred.

Position Responsibilities:
Communication Directly communicates with customers via email, telephone, and face-to-face meetings to understand, define, create, maintain, update, and execute flight, maintenance, and cabin crew training needs. Works with training schedulers to ensure all training is properly planned.
Customer management Acts as the customer's focal for facilitating customer flight, maintenance, and cabin crew training requirements. Leads pro forma customer training conferences and direct sale resource planning conferences. Fosters positive customer relations by ensuring contractual training commitments and expectations are properly defined and delivered. Works with customers to determine customer work rules and training needs.
Sales liaison Works with sales team(s) to report and develop leads, develop and maintain ongoing call schedules for contracted customers, and understand changes to customer contracts.
Internal relationships Supports the planning and execution of training programs by working closely with training schedulers, training registrars, training instructors, sales, campus operations, and numerous other internal stakeholders.
Analysis - Creates, proposes and implements acceptable solutions to mitigate risks and opportunities caused when conflicts or change demands occur by managing global resource capacity, conducting schedule analyses, and working with internal and external stakeholders.
Additional Skills:
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

A Bachelor's degree or higher.
Experience using Microsoft Office suite.
Desired Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
Experience in the airline and/or aviation industry.
Experience in a role requiring strategic planning (project/program management).
Skills: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
