Systems Engineer

Description:
Seeking 2 (two) Systems Engineers in Phoenix, AZ.

The Systems Engineer has the primary responsibility for focusing on identifying customer needs and required functionality early in the development cycle, documenting requirements, impact to safety and reliability, system integration, requirement validation, and ultimately minimizing the risk of discovering design issues late in the project. Applicant must have the ability and desire to work with a variety of functions and teams to find and implement solutions.

Skills and Knowledge:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline 5-10 years’ experience; preferably in the avionics industry. Prefer experience development systems and products using DO-178B and DO-254 development processes as well. Familiarity with standard System Engineering practices. Familiarity with commercial air transport surveillance, flight management, or displays experience preferred. Must have good interpersonal skills and is able to work with multiple teams and be able to work directly with ACSS customers Fosters an environment that promotes creativity and innovation Must have excellent interpersonal skills, and exhibit ability to work with multiple teams and directly with customers Candidate must be self-motivated with good communications skills
