JOB TITLE: Fuel Cell Mechanic - Aerospace

PAY RATE: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour

Summary:
Services water separators, checks meters for correct delivery and calibration, and overhauls system components such as pressure-regulating and excess valves.
Disassembles, adjusts, aligns, and calibrates gauges and meters, or replaces them as needed.
Removes and installs equipment such as filters and piping to modify, repair, or replace system components.
Duties include cleaning fuel tanks and distribution lines, removing corrosion, repainting surfaces, overhauling vacuum and pressure vents, floating roof seals, hangers, and roof sumps, and maintaining records of inspections and repairs.
Required Skills:
C-130 Fuel Cell support - Must be able to enter confined spaces through the fuel panel opening.
Aircraft Fuel Cell Repair: 2-4 years of experience (required).
Must have own tools.
Desired Skills:
Fuel Cells: 2-4 years of experience (preferred).
Aircraft Fuel Cell Sealing: 2-4 years of experience (preferred).
