LOCATION: Seattle, WA

PAY RATE: $49.00 - $58.00 per hour

Summary:

    Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies.

    Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.

    Develops, identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build.

    Leads and implements manufacturing plans.

    Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements.

    Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices.

    Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions.

    Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule.

    Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.

    Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems.

    Implements lean principles and technologies.

    Work in a cross-functional work environment including engineering, quality, product support, supplier management, and program management

    Build technical data packages for use by suppliers

    Develop and implement manufacturing plans

    Resolve technical problems that could impact performance, cost, or schedule

    Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate a producible definition and investigate alternative solutions to meet producibility requirements

Required Skills:

    STEM Degree

    2 + years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience with multiple manufacturing processes such as forming, stamping, machining, bonding, and other techniques.

    2 + years of knowledge or equivalent combination of education and experience of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities (e.g., composites, structures), and data needed for defining delivery configurations (e.g., design definition, program directives, engineering drawings, change memos, wiring diagrams and schematics, functional tests, supplier data).

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.

    Software skills required: Microsoft office suite, some CATIA would be helpful

    Ability to read and interpret old 2D drawings

    Familiarity with aerospace parts/products

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor)

    2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master).

    In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Experience with out of production aircraft sustainment
