The candidate will fill a mid-level position responsible for the creation of complex CAD models and drawings. The candidate will work closely with a lead ME, EE and other staff members to develop and document solutions to complex requirements. The position will require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation and the ability to work in a team environment to develop major components or sections of AESA microwave systems and other RF packages. The candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks in support of the engineering and manufacturing organizations by using Computer Assisted Design (CAD) systems and enterprise data management tools to prepare mechanical design layouts, detail and assembly drawings and related documentation in conformance to appropriate program and/or military specifications.

Required Skills - Very strong Pro/E (CREO) skills including Cabling, Sheet metal, and Advanced Assembly - Functional understanding of PDM/Link (Windchill) - Electronic component packaging experience, - Demonstrated ability to perform on a significant CAD design activity - Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances, ASME Y14.5 - Good communication and leadership skills, - Able to handle multi-tasking and work in a team based environment, - Ability to establish effective relationships with other Raytheon personnel - Familiar with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project, - Knowledge of materials and processes used in RF component construction - Experience creating documentation needed to support the design, manufacturing and production, - Fundamental understanding of fabrication processes, capabilities, and limitations - Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance Desired Skills: - Solidworks design and drafting experience - Configuration Management Principals - Radar product design - Working knowledge of AutoCad, - MIL-DTL-31000, ASME Y14.24, AND ASME Y14.100 - Knowledgeable of Raytheon Engineering documentation Standards (EDS) - Experience with the Raytheon Drafting Standard, Mechanical - Engineering Process for documentation preparation, - Working knowledge of metal fabrication tools and processes,
