Duration of Assignment: Approx 3 to 6 months

This position is located at Warner Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.
This position supports the existing Government program and engineering teams at RAFB as well as Melbourne, FL. Duties to include the review, assessment and update of aircraft maintenance and structural requirements and technical data for sustainment. Development of bill of materials and repair concepts required to accomplish heavy maintenance is required. Experience in the resolution of aging aircraft issues is preferred. Technical support and advisory of Government counterparts is a primary objective of this position. The demonstrated ability to work closely with Government counterparts is required.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 9 years of experience in design, fabrication or repair of metallic airframe structures.
An active DoD Interim Secret Clearance required to start.

Preferred Qualifications:

BS or MS, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Experience with programmed depot maintenance (PDM) for aging military aircraft
Liaison Engineering Experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skill
Ability to collaborate in a team environment
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplishing them simultaneously
Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions
Experience with military specs and standards.
Experience interfacing with a military customer
