Aeronautical Engineer

Description:
****MUST be a U.S. Citizen****
****MUST have a Bachelor's Degree****
****MUST have an Active Secret Clearance or to have had one within the last 2 years****

Job Description:
1. Will perform Material Review Board (MRB) Engineering, primarily for structural related details, assemblies and installations on the F-22.
2. Will be responsible for providing dispositions to non-conforming material documents.
3. Experience with aircraft interchangeability / replaceability requirements, tool usage in an aircraft production environment, F-22 blueprint and specification familiarity, and basic aircraft systems knowledge is strongly preferred. 4. Will be required to coordinate across a large number of functional areas, including Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Structures and Systems groups, Safety, Material and Processes and Special Technology.
5. CATIA proficiency is preferred. Previous aircraft MRB authority is highly desired.
6. Must be a US Citizen.
7. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
8. This position requires a Final Secret Clearance to start.
9. Second shift coverage, weekend work, odd shifts and holiday work may be required to support the test schedule.

Desired skills
1. Good technical, communication, team, and presentation skills.
2. Previous Material Review Board (MRB) Authority.
3. Major in CE, ME, or AE preferred.
4. Desired skills CATIA 3D Modeling.
5. GD&T understanding.
6. Composite repair.
7. Final finish/spec tech familiarity.
8. Interchangeability requirements knowledge.
9. QADs/ DIMS/ related software experience.
10. Some weekend, odd shift and holiday work may be required.

1. Level 3: BS+9-15 YRS or MS+7-13 YRS
