Embedded Software Engineer - Infrared and Aircraft Simulation

Description:
*This is a full time, 18 month contract position, located on site in Marietta, GA*


We are looking for a contract Real Time Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, implement, and verify real time aircraft simulation software. This includes pilot-in-the-loop fighter and airlift simulations and systems integration laboratories (SIL). The particular simulators include those for the F-16, F-22, F-35, C-5, C-130J, and L-100 aircraft.



Day to day work may include full dome simulations, high fidelity, man in the loop simulation/mission systems, vehicle testing and integration, debugging, verification /validation of aircraft avionics and other systems.



Required:

*4 years’ experience developing, integrating and testing simulation software in a high-level language (C++, Java, Ada). in a Unix or Windows environment.

*Experience with Infrared (IR) or Electro-Optical (EO) applications

*Active Secret Clearance, with an investigation in last 5 years.

*Engineering Degree



Pluses:

*Experience in Solaris or Linux systems

*Experience in Rapid Prototyping, man in the loop simulations, and system verification/validation

*Embedded RTOS development experience
