Description:
Mechanical Engineer - Fort Worth, TX

Looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer that has experience using CATIA 3DX or CATIA V6 to perform design and analysis of rotor system components.

Description;

Mechanical Engineering on prototype and development helicopters.
CATIA 3DX is used to perform design and analysis of rotor system components for a dynamic environment, including solid model and drawing creation.
ASME Y14.5 GD&T with assembly and installation stack-ups is used extensively.
Requirements;

Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related discipline; or a related Associate Degree.
10+ years of applicable professional experience to include mechanical design, model creation, and creation and release of mechanical detail and assembly and installation drawings.
Experience designing helicopter rotor system components to include design of metallic components for a dynamic environment.
Experience with CATIA 3DX or CATIA V6.
Experience with GD&T to include tolerance stack-up analysis for mechanical assemblies and installations.
Experience coordinating with part suppliers.
