VL-ME-COMPONENT INTEGRATION-Grade 02

Description:
The position is for the Electrical and Avionics Component Integration Department - The group is responsible for design and preparation of basic data and preliminary design documentation including general arrangements and layout producibility for harnesses and equipment. Product and Process Design, Work Instruction Planning, and Manufacturing Support are functions performed within the group. Areas of responsibility include electrical power system components, instrument panel, crew stations, antennas, lighting, air-speed systems, molded wiring assemblies and wire harness assemblies and installations.
The particular responsibilities of this position include Component and/or Process Design, Work Instruction Planning, and Manufacturing Support of Electro-Mechanical Aircraft Installations. Candidates will evaluate designs for producibility, develop tooling and manufacturing plans for components, assemblies and installations.

QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of engineering drawings, geometric tolerances and dimensioning, as well as, computer aided drafting skills are required. Data collection and reporting including engineering change tracking are additional responsibilities of the position. A 4 year engineering degree in a related field.
