Avionics Engineer

Description:
****MUST have an Active Secret Clearance or to have had one within the last 2 years****

Job Description:
1. Supports development, design, integration and test function of Avionics/flight control systems, including electronics, SW, hydraulics, etc.
2. Analyzes product/system designs, applying knowledge of technology and materials to ensure a design that considers functionality, appearance, FAA compliance, availability, safety and cost.

Basic Qualifications:
1. Experience with avionic subsystems
2. F-35 factory or fleet/field experience
3. Previous experience with subcontractor technical management.
4. Electronic subsystems troubleshooting experience

Desired Skills:
1. Specific knowledge and hands on experience with CNI, Radar, EW, or ICP subsystems.
2. Knowledge of CNI functions (voice radios, data links, Link 16, TACAN, IFF, crypto).
3. F-35 program, PHM and Sustainment experience.
4. Electronic/optical device level knowledge
5. Ability to work across multiple internal and external customers/organizations to resolve technical and production issues.
6. Current F-35 program experience and clearances.

Education:
1. Level 2: BS+4-8 YRS or MS+2-6 YR
