Avionics Engineer

Description:
****MUST have an Active Secret Clearance or to have had one within the last 2 years****

Job Description:
1. Supports development, design, integration and test function of Avionics/flight control systems, including electronics, SW, hydraulics, etc.
2. Analyzes product/system designs, applying knowledge of technology and materials to ensure a design that considers functionality, appearance, FAA compliance, availability, safety and cost.

Basic Qualifications:
1. Experience with avionic sub-systems.
2. Previous experience with DD-1494 (Frequency Allocation Request) or Spectrum certification.
3. RF compatibility analysis or EEE (electromagnetic environmental effects) experience.

Desired Skills:
1. Specific knowledge and hands on experience with CNI subsystems.
2. Knowledge of IFF.
3. F-35 program experience.
4. Current F-35 clearances including SAP.

Education:
1. Level 3: BS+9-15 YRS or MS+7-13 YRS
