Software Engineer

Description:
Our client is seeking world class talent in Mission Systems and Software to be a part of a team that will carry on our 75 year tradition of making history in advanced aircraft development. Do not miss your chance to be a part of history!

The ideal candidate for this position will perform the following tasks:
* Utilize advanced technical concepts in support of software products within Advanced Development Programs (ADP).
* Responsible for the design, development, integration, and testing of airborne avionics embedded software, ground-based application software, and/or simulation software.
* Interfacing with various disciplines, including Systems Engineering and Integration & Test.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience:
* Must be able to obtain an Active DoD Secret clearance or higher, investigated within the last 5 years
* Experience programming in C++
* Experience with real-time systems
* Hardware integration experience

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience with SW configuration control
* Message-level understanding of SW/HW interaction OFP and SIM integration
* Creating test tools or developing test environments
* Experience with test automation

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following skills and characteristics:
* Highly motivated, organized engineer that is familiar with all aspects of mission systems development.
* Must be capable of independently designing and creating software solutions based on limited information on rapidly evolving projects.
* Must be able to support the full software development life cycle, including requirements and configuration management and work in a mature software process environment.
* Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
