Job Description

We are looking for a CAD Drafter. You will learn on the job all necessary skills required to draft and design Telecommunications wireless projects. You will learn to draft in multiple CAD platforms and navigate proprietary software systems required to complete technical telecommunication design packages that will be used for zoning, permitting, final design and construction. You will will also design fiber optic cables, above and below ground equipment cabinets, telephone poles and other underground structures and draft them in an accurate and error-free design package to be delivered to the customer. You will report directly to the Engineering Section Manager in our Erie, PA office.

Position located in the Erie, PA office. Candidate must have reliable transportation to & from office on a daily basis.

You Will:

• Create Telecommunication Engineering designs and layouts.
• Create AutoCAD drawing packages and permit drawings for wireless sites.
• Interpret engineering designs, redlines and incorporate into A&E drawing packages.
• Develop necessary templates used to create AutoCAD drawing packages.
• Work with senior designers to develop drawings, calculations and equipment applications for the telecom industry using AutoCAD.
• Organize and analyze drawings before set up and discuss project complexity and time estimates with technical and supervisory personnel.

Seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design parts of the drive system. Qualified candidates will be responsible for designing, and analyzing sophisticated dynamic system components and assemblies for the aircraft. Duties:
Under general direction, candidate will guide component design and system design of Nozzles, Igniters, Actuators, Pressure Vessels and Solid Propellant used in Solid Propulsion Systems, Controllable Solid Propulsion Systems and Air-Breathing Propulsion Systems.

40% - Provided Design solutions for Solid Propulsion Systems, Controllable Solid Propulsion Systems and Air-Breathing Propulsion Systems. Propulsion design activities include strategic booster motors, tactical rocket motors and controllable solids. Will work independently and with more senior engineers to develop design concepts, 3D models and support the development of detailed drawings for the manufacture of parts. May provide guidance to less Senior Engineers and act as lead on assigned projects. Supports trade studies and develop component specifications and procedures as required. Interact with component analysis, manufacturing, project engineering, quality and customer support groups. Conceive and plan design tasks with general direction and work effectively within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment.

30% - Participate in shop floor and production hardware processing at suppliers and internally. Provide input to address nonconforming hardware, process planning, support production meetings, and work with supply chain to assure that design requirements are met. Support engineering drawing and specification updates at configuration change boards.

20% - Develop test plans and technical reviews. Assist in the identification and support of risk reduction and environmental test requirements. This may include manufacturing pathfinders, subscale testing, component and system level qualification tests.

10% - Participate in presentations for internal and external customer proposal. Responsible for describing design capabilities, proposed design approach, and rationale with cost estimates and schedule.

Skills:
A strong mechanical aptitude and experience with CAD software tools (CREO) is desired, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
