ASIR Test Engineer

Description:
We are seeking a Test Conductor/Test Engineer for our Avionics System Integration Rig (ASIR). This position is located in Seattle, WA and you will be working with a new exciting aviation project. The test rig is a static test bench for all of the Avionics Systems on a new regional jet aircraft with a simulation host computer to stimulate the systems. This position requires the development and test of Engineering Test Procedures (Test Cards) based on the Engineering Test Spec requirements from the Avionics Design group, and the creation of Test Reports following the tests to document the results.

Responsibilities:
•Development and test of Engineering Test Procedures (Test Cards) using in house tools.

•Creation of Test Reports following the tests to document the results.

•Support investigations and troubleshooting of test rig and/or systems related snags, coming from either the rig test or flight test programs.

•Support the Configuration Management of the Test Rig.

•Facilities planning.

•Creation and carrying out of Rig Maintenance Procedures,

•Test Video Recording & Equipment management.

•Software Loading following provided instructions.

Requirements
•Candidates should have experience conducting systems testing on a test bench or static simulator.

•Engineering degree of relevant experience.

•Avionics experience.
