Assembler B- Job ID 40959

Description:
We have an Excellent Contract position for an Assembler B to join a leading Company located in the Victor, NY area.

**U.S. Citizenship Required.

Under the general supervision, the assembler is responsible for assembling electrical/electronic box wires, circuit boards, and other components to metal shafts. Must be able to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and schematic drawings to assemble electronic and electro-mechanical products; enters the required information into a computer system.

Job Responsibilities:
Performs routine assembly operations of a repetitive nature on electromechanical components and subassemblies in the product line following the company's procedures for safety and quality.
Attaches hardware and seals assembly; Solders, lugs, routes, and ties electrical components.
Works with samples, simple drawings, as well as written and verbal instructions.
Uses hand tools such as long nose pliers, power screwdrivers, and soldering iron to perform work.
Assist with final quality testing of complete systems to make sure each is functioning according to customer specifications prior to shipment.
Inspects product as it is being built and refers any problem to Supervisor.
Daily communication with all team members and Supervisors.

Basic Hiring Criteria:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum two to four years of verifiable electrical/electronic assembly experience or equivalent combination.

Desired Qualifications:
IPC 610 and J Standard 0001 Certificate Preferred; requires previous assembly experience.
Basic computer skills
