Field Technician Engineering Support

Description:
Do you enjoy traveling? If so, join our team! Nesco Resource is seeking a Field Tech Engineering Support for our client in Ypsilanti, MI.



As a Field Tech Engineering Support you will be responsible for successful installation, start-up, and training.



Job Description

  • Install, start-up, troubleshoot, debug, and train internal and external clients.

  • Demonstrate strong communication with clients through the use of SOP documents.

  • Test, inspect, and assemble parts to ensure they meet specifications and standards.

  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine a solution with management.

  • Document and follow company policies and procedures. 

  • Prepare assembly by drilling, taping holes and cutting materials according to the schematics.

  • Connect, attach, and test electrical wiring cables and piping systems. 


Requirements


  • Must have a minimum of five years’ experience.

  • Ability to work overtime as required.

  • Computer knowledge with Microsoft Suite experience.

  • Blueprint and Schematics reading required.

  • Low Voltage Electrical and Controls experience required.

  • Travel is mandatory up to 20 weeks per year.

  • Passport is required or be eligible.
