Responsibilities to Include:Develop and design menus, logic and display graphics in a multifunction glass cockpit Pilot Vehicle Interface (PVI) or coordinate design activities of suppliers. Position Purpose:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Interfaces with department managers and staff to develop status, forecast, and build recovery plans to support assigned program schedules. 5. Develop and utilize schedule and financial planning relationships using historical data and lessons learned for setting up new and projecting the outcome of existing programs and make recommendations. 6. Provide detail information to support planning and implementing development strategy analysis, including risk management and program schedule and financial impact analysis. 7. Provide guidance and leadership to senior level, intermediate level and entry level employees in any or all of the before mentioned organizations.

Additional Functions: 1. Manage, tracking and analyzing of budget verses actual expenditures, including detailed analysis of all expense incurred to be reported in a timely manner. 2. Coordinate with the departmental leads and managers to insure plans meet approved budget, which may include corrective action in job charging. 3. Review cost expenditures and revenues with Program Managers to insure margin goals are achieved. 4. Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary
 
This position negotiates and administers complex subcontracts and uses discretionary latitude to negotiate financial, contractual, technical terms, conditions, and provisions to establish and maintain major subcontracts.
 
Responsibilities may include:

Welding Manufacturing Engineers - Sunnyvale, CA

Description:
STS AeroStaff Services is currently hiring Welding Manufacturing Engineers for open positions in Sunnyvale, California.

Note: All candidates must have had secret security clearance in the last five years.

Job Duties:

• This position provides technical direction and support for Operations in areas of welding, fabrication and heat treat
• Requires the ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues, improve existing manufacturing processes, and develop new processes, to include tooling and fixtures
• Qualify welding procedures, prepare engineering documentation and instructions to support shop fabrications per industrial and military standards
• The candidate must have an understanding of weld inspection and processes to assist shop personnel in the interpretation and implementation requirements
• Duties include developing instructional material for the training and certification of welding and fabrication personnel
• Provide input to Design Engineering to ensure that designs are optimized for manufacturing and meet all requirements of the contract welding specifications
• Support estimating activities for new or existing products as required and work with suppliers to resolve problems and meet incoming material and fabrication requirements

Qualifications:

• Related Degree is strongly preferred, but not required
• Looking for actual experience in the discipline of gear machining (grinding and hobbing); someone who has experience with the gear machining equipment and processes
• Direct job experience relating to welding engineering and manufacturing of heavy fabrication products a huge plus
