Structural Engineers (Level 4 & 5) - Melbourne, FL

Description:
STS AeroStaff Services is currently hiring Structural Engineers for open positions in Melbourne, Florida.

Note: All candidates must have had secret security clearance in the last five years.

Job Duties:

• Analyzes, researches and develops structural engineering specifications involving metals, non-metallic or composite structural materials for product design, or operation of product to include structures, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronics, power plant, armament, heating and ventilating, equipment and maintenance designs
• Analyzes damage tolerance, durability, design allowables and structural modeling
• Specific structural engineering specialties may include dynamics and loads, stability and stress fatigue and thermal analysis
• Tools utilized may include CATIA, IDEAS, ProEngineer and a variety of software applications

Qualifications:

• Level 5:
o Primary responsibilities include dynamics related support of structural and subsystem design and testing
o Required skills include structural and subsystem test dynamic loads development, impact analysis, as well as shock, vibration, and acoustic evaluation and mitigation
o The work will include building dynamic models, and conducting static and dynamic analyses
o The work will also include test planning and coordination for ground and subcomponent tests
o 14 Years’ with Bachelors in Science; 12 Years’ with Masters; 9 Years with PhD
• Level 4:
o Experienced Mechanical, Aerospace or Civil Engineer with experience in aerospace static and dynamic structural analysis, structural design, shock, vibration, and fatigue
o Primary responsibilities include support of primarily metallic subsystem and secondary structure design
o 9 Years’ with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years’ with Masters; 4 Years’ with PhD
• All positions Require an active DoD Secret clearance
