Lead resolution of technical in service issues for the Client Family of aircraft.

Coordinate technical investigations with other engineering disciplines, suppliers and aircraft operators.

Prepare and issue Electrical and Avionics related product changes, modifications and repairs.

Answer technical queries from the Field Service Representatives and the airline operators.

Be involved in operators' conferences and operator technical reviews.

Bachelor Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent.

Must be a team player showing initiative, have a strong sense of responsibility and possess good technical and commercial judgment.

Must have at least 10 years relevant experience with the specification, design, development, integration, test and certification of Avionics systems on aircraft.

Knowledge of certification requirements is required.

Technical experience on the Client family of aircraft is an asset.

Must have strong English (written and spoken) communication skills.

Must be capable of working under pressure, be attentive to details, have good planning skills and be fully committed to accomplishing work on time and on schedule.

Must be computer literate and familiar with commonly used software (MS Office).

Catia V5 experience is an asset.

Must have strong investigative skills.

Description:
Currently looking for an experienced Human Performance Analyst to fill an opening with a company located in Moses Lake, WA. Responsibilities of the Human Performance Analyst

Serve as the safety team’s expert on human performance, team dynamics, and flight physiology.
Advise aircrew, dispatchers, test managers, and the Flight Test Safety Officer on scientific aspects of human psychology, physiology, ergonomics, and anthropometrics.
Provide human performance insights to help the Flight Test Safety Officer prepare Test Hazard Analyses, Safety Review Boards, and related functions.
Assess proposed flight manual changes and procedures for adherence to best practices in human performance.
Work with the Flight Test Safety Officer to develop a program of non-punitive observation of flight simulations.
Perform the observations, then debrief the flight crew and trend the data collected in a fashion similar to Line Operations Safety Assessments (LOSAs), but limited to the simulator.
Carefully review event reports and newly found hazards for human elements and how they impact risk and potential mitigations.
Develop and administer psychographic surveys to determine safety cultures and climates present in different parts of the organization, trend how they change over time, and analyze possible causes responsible for the changes.
Establish, adjust, and track Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs) and Allowable Levels of Safety Performance (ALoSP) associated with human performance, as part of SMS Safety Assurance requirements.
Create original and customized courseware in CRM/TEM and human performance for the unique intercultural employees and then coordinate with other members of the safety team to facilitate and instruct using innovative methods that use the most modern education and training technology.
Provide expert insights on the psychological barriers to change as new safety initiatives are fielded.
Create a system for tracking the currency of aircrew flight physiology training, to include altitude chamber initial and recurrent training.
Perform ergonomic assessments of workplace settings, ranging from aircraft seating to office functions conducive to repetitive stress disorder.
Work shifts as the “on-call” safety representative for time-sensitive safety issues, to include occasionally being on-call after normal business hours.
Assist and/or lead incident investigations and participate in management review of all serious incidents.
Develops and implements the human performance elements of the Risk Management (RM) program and instructs strategic and real-time RM principles to employees and executive staff.
Participate in annual budget and requirements development process for the safety team.

Description:
Direct hire opportunity in Casa Grande for an electrician to work within a manufacturing environment.

HS diploma or GED

minimum 5 years experience as qualified journeyman level Electrician or Electronic Technician in manufacturing

6am-6pm Th, Fr, Sa and every other Sunday

  • Installs and maintains 480, 240, 120 AC systems and low voltage electrical systems.

  • Interprets and follows electronic drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and simple ladder logic.

  • Disassembles equipment as necessary and repair or replace faulty components.

  • Makes electrical and electronic repairs or improvements to a variety of process controls, unit operations, and equipment.

  • Analyzes deficiencies in electrical and electronic equipment to determine cause of problems.

  • Installs, trouble shoots and maintains motor controls, S.C.R. drives, dielectric heating presses, pulse counters, pH monitor, electronic controls on oven presses and all other electrical and electronic equipment used in plant.

  • Maintains, repairs, and installs new gas trains and burners.

  • Fabricates replacement parts and supports.

  • Services and repairs lift trucks and other powered carts as necessary.

  • Participates in writing and constructing job plans, preventative maintenance procedures and root cause analysis.

  • Works on weekends and holidays when requested.

  • Must have full working set of essential electrician tools.

  • Ensures that products meet customer specifications and expectations.

  • Works in a team environment to reach consensus decisions within the guidelines and boundaries established by the company, and maintains constructive relationships with co-workers.

• Plans, reviews, organizes, and prioritizes engineering tasks to ensure Engineering completes tasks and maintains responsiveness in order to maintain aircraft, component, and engineering program schedules.
• Primary point of contact between customer representatives and/or internal customers to ensure consistent action in accordance with customer requirements.
• Mentor and train Repair Engineers from all levels of experience; identify and grow the expertise and experience of the team.

• Review existing technical data, technical drawings, and previous history for entire airframe structure, mechanical / hydraulic systems and components, engine pylon/struts, and landing gear; in addition, some avionics, indication, lighting, and electrical systems are occasionally reviewed.
• Provide written technical accomplishment instructions for aircraft repairs or modifications to maintenance, customer, and regulatory authorities as necessary.
• Communicate technical details of repair or modification designs through technical writing and computer drafting functions.
• Independently evaluate, select, and adapt situations, and modify techniques, procedures and criteria to solve problems encountered.
• Approve engineering documents within authorized signatory level.
• Assist in interviewing and making hiring recommendations for new Engineering personnel.
• Participate in the development of work statements and hour estimates in support of proposals.
AUTHORITY:
The individual in this position may initiate technical instructions that are substantiated by data acceptable to or approved by the FAA and EASA or equivalent. For technical instruction pertaining to work accomplished on aircraft or components operated under CFR Part 91, 121, and 145, authority is as specified by the air carrier's procedures and/or Repair Station Manual.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
• Experienced with OEM airframe, system, and interior design practices.
• Strong working knowledge of MyBoeingFleet and AirbusWorld for OEM datasets.
• Must be adaptable and flexible at all times and apply their knowledge and skills to develop creative solutions to a wide variety of unique design, modification, and repair problems encountered.
• Strong PC skills will include 3D Computer Aided Design proficiency (SOLIDWORKS or AutoCAD preferred), MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project), and basic computer drafting skills.
• Ability to accomplish basic stress analysis and substantiation for complex repairs or modifications using standard accepted industry practices and other structural design methodologies.

• Ability to understand and apply the policies / procedures of all customer(s).
• Ability to understand and apply information from Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs), Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMMs), Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPCs), Service Bulletins (SBs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and other aircraft reference materials.
• Ability to interpret and use aircraft manufacturing, assembly, and installation drawings.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills with other groups (avionics, certification, Program Management and Maintenance Leads, MRO Facilities and customers) experience strongly preferred.

  • Perform Automated System Level Testing by following detailed written procedures and applying knowledge on the job experience on multiple segments. 
  • Handle and process customer material, test records, and associated documentation. 
  • Document system level events and failures for repair and supply detailed information within eFactory for reliability requirements. 
  • Perform and complete varied tasks through the use of knowledge-based experience, adhering to work instructions and applying client policies and procedures. 
  • Perform test set-up and teardown of associated equipment and cables, storing in designated locations when not in use. 
  • Utilize product & process knowledge to conduct high level troubleshooting. 
  • Support the flexible workforce initiative training and working across multiple test cells and products. 
  • Coach, mentor, and train Interact with other Test Team members. 
  • Collaborate with Engineering and other support personnel to identify improvements to equipment, processes, and overall productivity. 
  • Coordinate with Engineering and pertinent support personnel to resolve equipment, software, and procedural issues or failures.
  • Comply with detailed instructions on all work applying client policies and procedures. 
  • Utilize tools, computers, and office equipment as required to complete job related tasks. 



Prerequisites: 
  • MUST have active Secret Security Clearance
  • Candidates should have a background in Avionics testing and troubleshooting from military or civilian aviation.
  • Any system level or navigation testing over temperature and dynamics a plus.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned. 
  • Requires knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment.
  • 2+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. 
  • Minimum HS; preferred Associate, Technical, or military equivalent. 
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
