Description:
Prepare/Develop technical design and maintenance process documentation for the ground electrical system that is used for launching Atlas and Delta launch vehicles. Documentation will include hardware and software specifications and operating instructions for the system. Network Security Specifications will be also be part of this activity. This individual will work with the existing technical design organizations to capture and document existing processes and operations. Experience in network security documentation. Experience with MS Office (Visio included) is a must.

Responsibilities:
� Producing high-quality documentation that is appropriate for its intended audience
� Working with internal teams on product and documentation requirements
� Writing easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides
� Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
� Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
� Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides
� Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
� Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
� Create and maintain the information architecture

Requirements:
Specific position will be developing and documenting processes used in the corporation that support network security. Experience with CNSSI 1253 and NIST 800-53 preferred. Development of Plan of Actions (POAM) and Security Plans (SPP) will be the focus.
� 6-10 yrs exp & Bachelors degree in Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred (accepting experience in lieu of degree)
� Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
� Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
� Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
� Excellent written skills in English
� Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
� Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
