RF Design Engineer

Description:
Deployment, integration, and support of RF electrical design automation tools on Windows and Linux platforms. The selected candidate will be viewed by the engineering community as a competent user of RF engineering tools, while being familiar with FPGA engineering tools. The success candidate will have the opportunity to rise to the challenge and add to their engineering tool and process portfolio.

Job Duties
1. Solve RF engineering tool problems that engineering poses, and confirm the requirements necessary to design, implement, and manage the RF tool and licensing environment.
2. Assist FPGA application engineers in occasionally installing FPGA engineering tools.
3. Act as a liaison between IT and engineering to guarantee engineering tool purchases, security, and licensing issues are resolved.

Minimum Qualifications
- BSEE degree and 4 years of experience supporting electrical engineering development environments
- Demonstrated competence of RF engineering tools from Ansys, Keysight, and MathWorks
- Willingness to learn and apply skills in occasional installation and support FPGA engineering tools vendors like Xilinx and Intel
- A thirst for knowledge of other engineering tools, including those used in designing antenna, photonics, and optics solutions
- Demonstrated problem-solving and interpersonal skills to act as a liaison between IT and engineering
