Facilities Engineer II

Description:
*This is a full time, 9 month, contract position located in York, PA*



We are seeking a Facilities Engineer who can plan, design and coordinates facility renovations, layouts, equipment updates and utility support; may include modernization, maintenance and upgrading of plant electrical and mechanical systems, structures, architecture and interior finishes; ensures facilities compliance with OSHA, EPA, applicable codes (NEC, IBC, ADA) and local, state and federal codes and regulations.



The position requires working with managers and engineers and determining what the customer needs are (scope of the projects), creating a budget, estimating costs, bidding out the work, and completing the project ensuring project guidelines and building codes have been met.



Required:

* 2 years Facility Engineering experience

*Strong MS Office experience

*Good CAD software, preferably, using AutoCad
*This position requires daily interaction with union employees.

*4 year degree



Pluses:

*2 yrs AutoCAD 2017

*Industrial engineering degree

*Experience in negotiating with union employees.
