Entry Level Mechanical Packaging Engineer

Description:
*This is a full time, 1 year, contract position located in Anniston, AL*



We are seeking a contract Mechanical Engineer who will create designs and solid models for machined metal components using CREO. Candidate will work with test engineering develop the mechanical structures, create the 3D solid model and detail the models in 2D drawings.



Required:
*2 years’ experience in electronic packaging designing/solid modelling; familiar with test equipment design
*Familiar with tolerance analysis and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
*Strong design processing knowledge such as conceptual and final design, support to procurement, work hands-on with assembly personnel, engineering test, debug, integration and support of product qualification.
*Able to apply and obtain a Secret Clearance, which requires candidates are US Citizens.
*4 year ME degree



Pluses:
*Experience using CREO
*Ability to create / interpret detail, assembly, and installation type drawings
*Familiar with EVMS
