Master Minimum Equipment List Specialist

Description:
We are seeking a Minimum Equipment List (MEL) Specialist with aircraft maintenance experience to fill an opening for an exciting company in Nagoya, Japan. Interested candidates should have at least 5 years of experience with aircraft operations as well as MMEL (Master Minimum Equipment List) development experience.

Responsibilities of the MMEL Specialist

Creation and execution of all MMEL development.
Updating and creating MMEL justification analyses.
Updating and creating Dispatch Deviations Guide maintenance and operational procedures.
Coordinating MMEL and associated manuals’ contents with design and safety engineering and the customers.
Planning, coordinating, observing MMEL validation and verification activities.
Coordinating with aviation authorities (JCAB, FAA, and EASA) for MMEL approval throughout Flight Operation Evaluation Board review.
Development a process of updating MMEL as well as monitoring the airline’s MEL operation, evaluating and updating the MMEL documentation process and authority approval process.
Monitoring and supporting airline’s MEL operation after Entry Into Service.
Updating and obtain authorities approval for future MMEL revisions.


Requirements

4 year engineering degree.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Aircraft Maintenance or Operations.
Minimum 3 years of MMEL development experience, including experience coordinating with airworthiness authorities and airlines regarding MMEL documentation.
Knowledge of CS MMEL and FAA MMEL system (FOEB, Policy Letters, etc.).
Airline support experience regarding MMEL/MEL.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Ability to travel domestically as well as internationally.
