Structural Analyst

Description:
Location: Houston, TX
Rate: $53.00/HR
Duration: 6 month contract
Shift: 1st Shift

**Must be a U.S. Citizen**

Job Description:
- Performs low to mid complexity research, design, and development of mechanical applications to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and ground test / mechanical tests.
- Additionally responsible for the CAD support of design projects and execution of Engineering design changes.
- Conduct an ANSYS Thermal focused analysis of the affected hardware.
- Execute an ANSYS Stress analysis and provide Analysis results & stress report. (MSy and MSu)

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Prefer local candidate.
- Experience with classical stress analysis and mechanical design.
- Aerospace, Automotive, and/or Mechanical Engineering experience preferred.
