Job Description
Function: Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this position is responsible for the design, implementation, verification and validation of software used in manufacturing.
Essential job functions: • Execute software design, implementation and code review.
• Create software unit test, verification and validation documentation.
• Conduct software unit test, verification and validation.
• Software version control and defect management.
Required skills: • Computer Science degree or equivalent and 3+ Years experience.
• Experience with C#/SQL/Visual Studio (be able to understand/generate classes and convert to/from C).
• Ability to analyze source code and generate documentation that provides clear and concise view of structure and data flow.
• Experience with test equipment in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Experience with writing code that interfaces with serial devices via RS232 and/or USB is a plus.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal while being enthusiastic, motivated and self-driven.
• Flexibility in task assignment, willingness to switch tasks as needed based on a fast moving work environment.
Scope:
Education: • A Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering or electrical engineering or equivalent experience is required.
