Senior Electrical Engineer

Description:
An Electrical Engineer job opportunity in Cincinnati, OH is currently available through Belcan. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need to have at least 15 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering. As a senior electrical engineer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including technical development of electrical systems, mentoring and consulting for other engineers.

Electrical Engineer job duties:
• Read, understand, modify, update or develop electrical schematics, diagrams or drawings when given functional requirements.
• Create Bill Of Materials for electrical systems.
• Mentoring resource for other engineers.
• Consulting resource for other engineers.
• Help quote electrical systems related work.
• Clearly communicate identify and communicate technical issues with teammates and co-workers.

Qualifications:
• BS degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong electronics/electrical background.
• Able to create electrical schematics, diagrams, and drawings.
• Able to create Bill of Materials, Cable Pull Lists, Conduit/Raceway/Tray Fill documents.
• Able to create instructions, check sheets, manuals, and training guides for electrical systems.
• Experience specifying and applying industry standards.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, highly organized and possess excellent communication abilities.
Desired but not required skills:
• AutoCAD experience.
• PLC experience.
• Human Machine Interface (HMI) experience.
