Design Engineer - Composites

Description:
Under the direction of project design engineering, serve as a member of a design team providing detail design for engineering CAD models. The main product line will require design-to-build activities for a Military aircraft composed of primary composite and secondary composite and metallic structures. In addition, we will require modeling using Parametric modeling techniques for sustainable design.

Minimum Requirements
o    Citizenship: US Citizen, Green Card Holder or Permanent Residence Status
e    Education: A degreed candidate is highly desired
o        10 years of experience in Aerospace
o       6000+ hours experience with CATIA v5 Part Design and Generative Surface Design (GSD)
o       At least 2000 hrs on V5R23 or higher
o       Entirely 3D CAD Design using Model Based Definition (MBD)
o       Able to work on -site Monday-Friday.
o       Experience with ENOVIA\SmarTeam
o    Experience with CATIA Functional Tolerancing and Annotation (FTA) workbench - 300 hours
o        Experience with CATIA Composite Part Design (CPD) a plus
o       SmarTeam experience is preferred
o       Ideal Candidates: Familiar with GD&T for MBD. Lack of or limited MBD workbench with tolerancing may limit contractor's duration on the program.
