Flight Control Systems Engineer

Description:
The Flight Control Systems Engineer is responsible for (but not limited to) supporting the following:

• Design and test of Flight Control Systems (FCS) with embedded DO-178 software and DO-254 complex hardware, including Fly-By-Wire Flight Control Systems. Specifically the integrated hardware and software specification, design, implementation, and verification of a flight control system per the DO-178 and DO-254 standards.

• System and software design, requirements management, systems specifications, interface management, system safety assessment, verification and validation testing in desktop simulation environment and systems integration labs, aircraft flight test, and aircraft/system qualification and certification

Bachelor’s Degree is required.
Major in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science is preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, Electrical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering will be considered with sufficient software development experience.
Master’s Degree in the Engineering disciplines mentioned above is preferred.
