Flight Controls Engineer w/Secret Clearance

Description:
*We have a full time, 1 year contract position, located in Palmdale, CA*



We are hiring for a contract flight controls engineer who will be working with airborne vehicle systems in the areas of GNC, Vehicle Management Systems, Control Law Design, flight simulation, telemetry, avionics and instrumentation systems for rockets and booster rockets.



Required:

*15+ years’ experience working as a Flight Controls and Simulations Engineer working at an aerospace firm or subcontractor.

*Good skills in C/C++ and embedded software

*Strong background in GNC and Vehicle Management System (VMS) development, lifecycle, or architecture

*Knowledgeable in Control Law (CLAW) Design and Development

*MATLAB (Simulink)

*BSEE or equivalent degree

*Active Secret clearance (w/recent investigation)
