Aerospace Process and Tools Lead

Description:
We are seeking an accomplished leader with Configuration Management, Product Change Management, Process and Tool development experience to fill and opening for an aerospace company in Nagoya, Japan. Interested candidates should have 15 plus years of aerospace engineering and at least 5 years of process and tool experience along with a relevant leadership background.

Responsibilities of the Aerospace Process & Tools Lead
Lead the development and deployment of world leading, efficient engineering processes and tools that can be integrated seamlessly in to the company business framework.
Define the process and tools development road map which includes both short term process adjustments and long term process consolidation and optimization.
Provide direction for product change management, configuration management, data release, process development, Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) development and deployment.
Support engineering in achieving program milestones and certification schedules.
Identify, manage and mitigate risks for critical path activities.
Develop and meet budget & resource plans within the schedules.

Requirements
15 plus years in aerospace engineering of which 5-10 years involve aerospace process and tools management.
​Minimum Bachelor’s degree, plus MBA, PMP or other certifications from accredited institutions preferred.
Previous successful leadership experience.
Relevant configuration management, product change management, process & tool development and deployment experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
