2625 - ELECTRICAL WIRING INTERCONNECT SYSTEM (EWIS)

Description:
Develop electrical wiring interconnect system (EWIS), capable of resolving all technical issues relating to EWIS

Produce and maintain wire harness assemblies, utilizing CATIA V5 Electrical

Support Production; respond to Non-Conformance-Reports (NCR)

Provide technical assistance to engineering staff and contribute to completion of project milestones

Provide technical support for EWIS parts qualification

Apply knowledge to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity, using a combination of judgment with defined practices and procedures.

Bachelor degree in Engineering in a related field: Avionics and or Electrical specialization is an asset

Minimum of 5 years of aerospace experience in EWIS and/or Avionic components

Capable of interfacing with wiring diagrams, systems, and EMI/EMC requirements

Intimate knowledge of and ability to assign wires/cables to their correct harness assembly, based on EMI/EMC and system separation or system functionality requirements while meeting all installations and maintainability requirements

Have an excellent verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills (PC/MS Office) are required

Must be well-organized and able to balance multiple tasks, detail oriented, possess good judgment, and exercise initiative

Have a good knowledge of Catia V5

Have a good Avionic and/or EWIS MRB approval knowledge and understanding, an asset.
