Systems Engineer

Description:
****MUST have an Active Secret Clearance or to have had one within the last 2 years****

Job Description:
1. Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
2. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
3. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
4. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

Basic Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, Computer Science, related Engineering degree considered
2. System Level Design Experience
3. Background using ethernet protocols

Desired skills
1. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in one or more of the following skill domains: TACAN, IFF, Link 16 and/or Open Systems Architecture
2. Familiarity with Systems Engineering processes to include requirements development and verification, systems architecture, and conceptual design theories
3. “Internet of Things” applications
4. Working knowledge of aircraft avionics
5. Team Player
6. Good Communication Skills
7. MS Office Suite Proficiency

1. Level 2: BS+4-8 YRS or MS+2-6 YR
