Structural Analyst II (8089767) - Dallas TX – Raytheon

Update:
Three of the four positions have offers made. The final position will be supporting another group at Raytheon. The description has been modified slightly: Description Raytheon Space & Airborne System seeks an experienced Structural Analyst committed to providing top-quality analysis and design of airborne structure, in a cooperative and collaborative work environment. Analysis tasks will utilize Abaqus/CAE and involve designs for static and dynamic strength, stiffness, and fatigue. Other analysis techniques will be learned and employed as required. Required Skills Knowledge and experience with Abaqus/CAE Experience with using hand-calculations for structural analysis Desired Skills Proficient with Abaqus/CAE (> 3 years) Extensive finite-element analysis experience of aircraft structure (> 5 years) Experience with fatigue analysis Structural analysis experience of aircraft structure Experience with airworthiness certification Structural dynamics background Required Education Must have at least a BS from an ABET accredited university with a major in Mechanical Engineering or other related field.
