Description:
The candidate will work on CAD Services & FM Interact Setup. FM Interact is a software platform that will help manage all 2.1 million square feet of space on the Windsor Locks campus. The software has to be configured to the site and requires initial setup by creating and entering CAD drawings, classifying the space type, and assigning occupant information. FM Interact training will be provided as needed.

Under the direction of the Senior CAD drafter and FM Interact System Administrator, this resource will:
• Work within the software platform to classify space type (office, support, factory, etc.)
• Assign occupants to workstations

Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, the primary focus of this addition to the Engineering Department is to analyze, control, modify, and execute programs in CNC Machine Controllers. Coordinate electronic CNC controller programming with information systems.

Qualifications, Education and Experience:



BS or AS in Electrical Engineering or 3+ years of experience building electrical devices and controls for machines used in manufacturing.

Ability to read machine electrical schematics of machines and electronics.

2D CAD experience for electrical schematics; AutoCAD and 3D CAD experience desired.

Knowledge of Ethernet wiring, basic network configuration and networking concepts.

Experience programming manufacturing machines (CNC, ladder, object-oriented programming).

Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and/or computers.

Experience working with hands/hand tools to build and repair mechanical and electrical devices for machine troubleshooting and repair.

Fanuc CNC experience a plus.

Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

Description:
Metrology Specialist with experience in setup, build, and inspection of large tools and assembly structures. This role is for a hands-on person with great versatility with regard to building and assembling large precision structures. The first task of this role will be to execute the installation and setup of new production fixtures, tooling, and equipment in a new production facility. The specialist in this position will support the production tooling and equipment design and installation in order to create an efficient, organized, and lean factory.
