Senior Quality Engineer

Description:
Location: Canoga Park, CA
Rate: $45.00 - $50.00/HR
Duration: 2 year contract
Per Diem Split: Yes (if eligible)

** Permanent residents are NOT eligible for this role **
** Dual citizens are NOT eligible for this role **

Duties:
- This individual will provide program Quality Engineering support to the Space Launch System (SLS) Program, RS-25 Engine System, spanning the life cycle of the program including design, development, production test and supplier support.

Skills:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a close-knit team environment.
- Good GD&T skills along with the ability to read and understand a blueprint.
- Experience in performing First Article Inspections Reports, Root Cause Analysis, Process FMEAs, Process Control Plans, and familiarity with typical aerospace processes (machining, welding, NDT, etc.) and how they are applied to the hardware being manufactured.

Education:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and five (5) years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
