F/22 and F/35 Flight Test Software Engineer

Description:
***Requires Active Secret Clearance to Apply***
**15-18 Month Contract, located in Palmdale, CA**

Our client is seeking an F-22 and an F-35 Flight Test Software Engineer to develop data and system requirements, designs and installation. Works with instrumentation engineers to identify data processing needs and identify cost-saving solutions. The candidate must have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and be able to work independently. Occasional extended hours and weekends are required.

Required Skills
*Experience developing, testing, and troubleshooting data processing algorithms for aircraft data
*Experience with hardware and software programming
*Experience with Teletronics (TTC) hardware and software
*Experience with IADS (Interactive Analysis and Display System) use and programming
*Experience working with Fibre Channel, MIL-STD-1553, IEE-1394, CAIS Bus (Common Airborne Instrumentation System Bus), RS-485
*Understanding of aeronautical telemetry applications and standards IRIG 106
*Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Aerospace Engineering

Desired
*Experience with and/or knowledge of Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) regulations and operating procedures
*Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
