Structural Design Engineer - Direct Hire

Description:
We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Structural Design Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Washington, MO surrounding area.

Essential Functions:
Design steel components and connections in accordance with structural contract documents and project specifications.
Provide support to the sales team with preparing cost estimates.
Provide support to the drafting team with interpreting contract documents and preparing erection drawings.
Collaborate with the project management team by providing solutions and corrective measures for field-related problems.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience with structural analysis and design of steel components.
Knowledge and ability to utilize computer-aided drafting tools such as AutoCAD is required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed as the successful candidate will interact with other engineers, technicians, project managers and clients.
