NX CAD Designer/Drafter

Description:
One of the world's leading heavy-truck manufacturers is looking for NX Cad Designer/Drafter to join their team! This group is developing heavy truck cabs and hoods. Be a part of the cutting edge in being a part of developing these award winning trucks.

This individual would be located on-site at their newly remodel TEC Center here in Portland Oregon. We’re seeking for the right candidate that can develop and create 3D NX CAD modeling by using solids and surface modeling techniques, create detailed dimensional GD&T and assembly drawings, manage CAD models and data, specifications and other engineering information into their engineering database.

Our client is willing to train the individual on how to create drawings per their department specification and standards, SWAN system upload and download of 3D models to vendors and customers, database model data storage, release and retrieval on their cad database system. Also learn other engineering processes and procedures too. Candidate must have GD&T proficiency along with dimensional variation analysis (e.g. tolerance stack-up) experience required.

NX Siemens cad system 1-2 years required
NX Solid modeling

NX Drafting, Layouts and Assemblies
GD&T Proficiency and Tolerance stack-up

Education
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree nice to have but not required.
